Telephone Interviewing Skills Training Course
Two day course - 6 students on each course.
How does it work?
This course, and the technique that you are taught within it, will provide both a structure to work with, and the interviewing skills required to undertake a successful interview over the telephone.
It focuses on interview structure and planning. Then will provide an understanding of non verbal communication, questioning technique and conversation management. Cognitive interviewing will be considered and the requirements of effective information processing and listening skills. We will look at the theory and psychology of deception, information recording and the use of timeline plotting.
The small number of delegates allows for a high level of one to one coaching, with practical exercises to raise students skills and confidence levels.
Who should attend?
The telephone interviewing skills course is suitable for anti fraud investigators, compliance officers, auditors, personnel, bank and insurance investigators - anyone responsible for investigating and interviewing people where they need to determine the truth over the telephone.
The Venue
Residential courses will be held in Bournemouth, at the superb Chine Hotel, Boscombe. The hotel has achieved 'Best in class' and a Red Rosette from the AA for the last 6 years, and RAC 'highly commended' restaurant, hospitality and comfort plus 'Credit to the Industry' award. It is overlooking the beach, with lovely gardens to relax and walk through, plus indoor and outdoor pools and gym.
