We have remained independent and we are proud of our reputation as the benchmark of investigative interview technique training.

During the last 25 years we've seen an incredible change in attitudes and operational processes. There was a time when certain organisations were very busy sweeping the F word (that's FRAUD of course) under the carpet. Nowadays we have risk and investigation departments with dedicated professionals who will root out any internal or external fraud, and by doing so save their organisations huge sums of money.

We are providing our specialist training to a much wider audience and across national boundaries. All of our investigator courses are suitable for both new and inexperienced staff or highly experienced investigators.

We are developing new courses to cover new job roles and emerging technologies, such as call centre investigations conducted remotely. We are also being asked more and more to conduct bespoke & in-house courses to fit with company policy or operational procedures.

Company Background

Argent Associates was founded in 1983 by ex-Chief Inspector, Geoff Kay, who had a notable police career ending on the Directing Staff of the Police College, Bramshill. When Head of Leadership and Management Training at Barclays Bank he devised an anti-fraud interview training course, which was the originator to our 'Find the truth' or Investigation Interviewing Skills Course.

We continue to ensure that our team, and in particular our trainers, have many years experience of fraud and criminal investigative interviewing.
